Harvest Labour Services provide a very valuable and popular service to primary producers in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Growers of a wide range of crops including melons, pumpkins, mangoes, grapefruit and sandalwood have an ongoing need for manual labour in the production and harvesting of these crops. Through our partnership with The Job Shop, (An experienced harvest labour Service Provider) we are able to offer these services to growers and provide hundreds of employment opportunities each year to jobseekers. The main Harvest Labour Area is Kununurra, situated 80 kilometres from the Northern Territory / Western Australia border, which is the home of the Ord River Irrigation Area. This area comprises some 12,000 hectares of irrigable land with a further 8,000 hectares being developed for production in the next 12-18 months.
